** The ladies from Lawrence County Middle School finished in the top spot of the TMSAA Sectional Tournament held last week. The Lady Stallions came from behind in the second half to take the 30-26 win over South Lincoln in the championship. Both teams came into the match up with impressive 24-1 records. The three day tournament was held at Lincoln County High School and Ninth Grade Academy with the champion games played at LCHS.

** The boys from Smith County finished as the top seed coming out of the TMSAA Sectional Tournament held here last week. The Owls took the win over South Lincoln 54-36 in the championship game. Smith Co. came into the match up with a 19-2 overall record - the Eagles were 25-2. Games were played at Lincoln County High School and Ninth Grade Academy with the championship played at LCHS.
