Fayetteville's Tigers (now 8-2) split in action last week. Friday FHS won on the road over Mt. Pleasant, 85-45 in an out of district match up. But Tuesday the Tigers dropped a district decision on the road to Cascade, 56-52.

Following the coaches meeting held last Saturday the seeding for the District 8-A Tournament is as follows: (1) Eagleville; (2) Fayetteville; (3) Cascade; (4) Huntland; (5) Moore Co.; (6) Cornersville. The Tigers 2-seed earned them a bye to the semi finals to be played Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The consolation game and Championship will be played on Saturday at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Cornersville is the host school for the tournament.
