Fayetteville High School's Tigers split in district action last week defeating Cornersville on the road Friday 64-27 but took their first district loss of the season at Eagleville, 75-65. In their first meeting with the Eagles it was a three overtime battle that finished in favor of the Tigers. But last week with a home court advantage the Eagles controlled the game for 32 minutes. Currently FHS is 21-4 overall and 8-1 in district play.

This week the tigers wrap up their regular season schedule on the road traveling to Cascade on Tuesday then their game at Mt. Pleasant has been moved from Thursday to Friday. The girls action gets underway at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow. The coaches meeting to determine district tournament seeding will follow - Cornersville is the host school.
