Saturday the Tigers wrapped up District 8-A tournaments as runner-up. FHS dropped a 57-56 battle to Eagleville, the top ranked single A team in the state in the AP poles. The Tigers led big in the second quarter but the Eagles rallied in the second half. With 18 seconds on the clock FHS was up 56-55 but Eagleville answered with the game winner with under 4-seconds remaining to finish on top.

At the awards presentation following the game Julius Dixon, Floyd Williams and Desiah Bartleson were select to the All District tournament team. Floyd Williams was also selected to the All District regular season team along with Jacious Clark and Isaiah Jones. Julius Dixon was regular season Co-MVP with Eagleville's Ryley McClaran.

In Saturdays consolation game Moore Co. defeated Cascade in a battle, 48-47 for the third seed.

The second place finish earns the Tigers a home game in the first round of Region 4-A tournament action and they will host Franklin Grace Christian Saturday at 7 p.m.
