Fayetteville High School's Tigers advanced in the first round of Region 4-A tournament action with a 78-53 win at home over Franklin Grace Christian. The Lions came out of the District 7-A tournament as the three seed defeating Republic in the consolation game.

The Tigers are scheduled to play LEAD Academy Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Merrol Hyde High School. That address is 128 Township Dr. Hendersonville.
