Lincoln County's Falcon baseball team split in district action last week against Tullahoma. Tuesday LC went down at home, 5-4. Wednesday the Falcons came back strong picking up a 10-3 win on the road.

Monday nights match up was a barn burner down to the wire. Ben Walp went yard in the sixths making it at 5-4 ball game. Down by one in the bottom of the seventh the Falcons had bases loaded with one out but couldn't reach home plate.

The Lighthouse Classic originally scheduled for Friday was postponed until Saturday but was cancelled Saturday morning due to rain.

Currently LC is 9-11 overall and 5-5 is district play.
