Lincoln County High School's Falcons split in district action last week against Columbia. Tuesday at home LCHS shut out the Lions 2-0. Wednesday the Falcons dropped a 4-1 decision at Columbia.

The match up with the Lions was a defensive battle. Both teams recorded 16 strikeouts each in the two game series. Of the 7 combined runs scored, 5 were unearned. Each team committed three errors - all giving up runs.

Friday LCHS won over Friendship Christian, 5-3 Oakland. Saturdays games at Blackman were not completed due to weather.

This week the Falcons play out of district taking on Christian Co. KY at Tomahawk on Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. start. Friday the Falcons host Columbia Academy at 5 p.m. before heading by to Tomahawk to meet Cookeville at 9 a.m.

As a note the Light House Classic is scheduled for April 19th and the Falcons will host Giles Co. with a 1 p.m. start. This years proceeds will benefit, "Clothe Our Kids" in Lincoln and Giles Co.
