"Considering all the emotion we had this week I thought everyone did a tremendous job putting everything they could into it," Coach Tim Johnson said. "We ran out of gas of course we were playing an excellent team that may very well be playing for a state championship."

"But we're looking at the bigger picture," continued Coach Johnson. "I was telling these seniors right now how proud I am I think they've gone a long way laying a foundation we're going to be able to build upon. These guys have stepped up given us all they had no matter what we needed and that's all as a coach you can really ask for. They have answered the call. They've had some tough years and they kept working through it. My hats off to them."

"These kids, their families, their parents, the school, administration, and the whole community - I'm just so honored and blessed to be back here and give my all for Lincoln County."
