Falcon baseball sweeps Red Raiders

Lincoln County High School's Falcon baseball team picked up a pair of much needed district wins sweeping Coffee Co. last week. Tuesday, LCHS won on the road 8-2. Ryan McAdams got the win going 7 innings giving up 2 unearned runs.

Wednesday the Falcons got their first home win of the season defeating the Red Raiders, 9-1. Sammy Sharp had a big night at the plate for LC with four hits. Jackson Cothren went the distance on the mound giving up one unearned run.

Friday (at Soddy Daisy) in out of district action the Falcons defeated Soddy Daisy, 4-3 and Chattanooga Christian, 13-3.

Saturday (at Bradley Central) LCHS went down to Grissom, 3-0 before dropping a 4-3 heart breaker to Bradley Central.

This week the Falcons host Columbia on Tuesday before traveling to meet the Lions on Wednesday. First pitch is at 6 p.m. Friday LCHS travels to Oakland for a match up with Friendship Christian with a 4 p.m. start. Saturday (at Blackman) the Falcons take on Beech at 12:30 p.m., then Blackman at 5:30 p.m.
